How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:To provide you with information, products or services that we feel may be of interest to you but only if you have requested this.We also may send you emails and electronic newsletter about services we offer but you are can unsubscribed to this at any time.To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you for yourself or on behalf of your child.For administration purposes including support sessions, invoices and receipts and program effectiveness assessments.To enable the compilation of statistics, or to assist other organisations to do so, provided that no statistical information that would identify you as an individual will be published. To assess what is the best and most appropriate service/program for you or your child.To enable us to audit the effectiveness our services for you or your child’s benefit.To assess you/ your child’s satisfaction with the services/ programs that we provided so that we can continually evaluate and improve our practice.

(b) We have a contractual obligation. How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored by Dyslexic Learning. The data that collected from you will be stored securely and cannot be accessed by anyone without appropriate authority to do so. All data will be password protected or locked away.
Information will only be kept for as long as it is required to provide support and for six years after final contact. All other data will be destroyed unless required for tax records. Tax records will include copies of invoices and receipts.
Disclosure of your information
Dyslexic Learning will request your permission should it be necessary to disclose relevant information to those people who ‘need to know’ to support you effectively.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
