What is Dyscalculia?
Dyscalculia is a difficulty in understanding numbers which can lead to a diverse range of problems with mathematics.
Occurring often, but not always, in conjunction with dyslexia, it is similarly not related to intelligence.
Instead, individuals with dyscalculia lack an intuitive understanding of how numbers work (sometimes called 'number sense'). Without this learning mathematics can be very frustrating.
